Sales on this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
These terms and conditions only cover the Serious Readers website. Any links within this site to other web sites are not covered by this policy and we accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites that are not under our control.
These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
PRICING
All prices are in £ Sterling, inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. You may pay by most major credit or debit cards. We are under no obligation to accept your order. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change at any time prior to acceptance of your order.
ORDERS & SECURITY
When you place an order we will treat it as an offer to buy. We will send an e-mail to confirm receipt. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will e-mail you as soon as we can to let you know.
CANCELLATIONS UNDER THE DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
Please note that you are entitled to cancel your order if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the order after it has already been dispatched, we will refund the original purchase price and delivery charge, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products, and that you have taken reasonable care of the Products and not used them. DELIVERY
All deliveries are either by post or carrier. (You can give us permission to leave with a neighbour). Delivery times Mon-Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm. Although we do everything we can to meet stated delivery times, these may be affected by factors beyond our control & therefore cannot be guaranteed.

OFFER CODES
If you are lucky enough to have received an exclusive offer code, you can avail yourself of it by entering the promotion code at the checkout. Please note, it is not possible to combine offers or promotion codes, only one may be used per order.

We reserve the right to add or remove payment methods at our discretion.
When you place an order using Klarna as your payment method, the financial agreement is between you and Klarna. Any disputes related to payments or fees should be directed to Klarna. We have no involvement in the financial agreement between you and Klarna, and we can't resolve any issues related to payment disputes with Klarna.
